Hi all,

The main aim of this newsletter is to provide all of you with 
a list of the Undernet IRC servers in the UK and America.

With much thanks to our IRC administrator, Glynn Stanton, for 
the listing.

NEWS

THE AUTHOR OF mIRC WILL BE JOINING US!
We are pleased to announce that Khaled Mardem-Bey, the author 
of mIRC, will be joining us on-line on the day. We both use 
mIRC on our home PC's, and it was through using this software 
that we first met. We are both looking forward to meeting 
Khaled on-line, and we hope that you make him welcome :)

CYBER-CAFE MAILSHOT
We are in the process of contacting a number of cyber cafes
around the world and inviting them to join in with the 
ceremonies. More news as we get it.

HELP WITH THE PROJECTOR?
Does anyone out there (particularly in the UK) have access to
a VGA projector? We're looking for a generous person to lend
us a screen projector which will help us present the on-line
ceremonies at Taunton Cyber. Although Taunton Cyber have kindly
offered to organise the hire of such a projector, we are
actively seeking a 'cheaper' way to do this :)

We recommend that you should try and connect with a server
which is geographically close to you to avoid lag and reduce
network problems.
