 INTERNET

Love at first byte
IT was a match made in heaven when Cloud Nine
and Starr met up on the Internet.
And it led to a whirlwind marriage for Somerset computer buff
Andrew Hunt and Florida-based Lisa Grosso.
Just 11 weeks after meeting in person, they tied the knot in
what's thought to be the world's first Internet marriage before
a potential 'guest list' of 100 million people on screen.
Lab assistant Andrew, 33, and designer Lisa, 40, used code names
when they 'met' via the worldwide computer network. They wed
for real in Taunton, but also took part in an Internet service
conducted by a pastor in Seattle.
Andrew said: "We've been assured that under US law our Internet
marriage is a legal ceremony."
