Instructions Summary

- You send the best copy of your logo(s) to us, either electronically or in the mail. You'll be asked to include any information about colours, variants or other preferences.
- We examine your logo(s) and determine if we have enough information. We will also determine if the quality of the logo is suitable for conversion, and the cost for the conversion process.
- We return a formal quotation by e-mail and provide instructions on how to pay.*
- We produce your custom Logo Font and send it to you by e-mail for approval. This will take up to 10 working days, depending on the complexity of the logo, number of variants, and colours.
- If required, we make any changes or modifications to your Logo Font.
- Once you have confirmed that you are happy with your font, we mail a copy of it to you on CD-ROM.
- If required, we include an example of your logo, with a link to your company's web site, on our Examples page.
*We accept payment using all major credit cards through PayPal.

Detailed Instructions For Submitting Your Logo & Requesting A Quote
Choose The Logos You Want To Be Converted
You first need to decide on the logos that you want to have converted.
You've probably got a single main logo that is the main identity for your organisation, but you may also have variants of the logo, with or without straplines and other images. You may have colour and mono versions of your logo. Remember that we can reproduce colour logos as well*.
You can ask us to convert other text as well, such as your company address(es), registration number, etc, so that they can all be inserted into documents with a key press.
Don't forget, if your stationary has other logos (e.g. memberships, awards and certifications such as ISO 9001 and Investors In People), we can add them as well so that you can completely reproduce your stationary with high quality scalable graphics. We may have already created the more common logos, and can add them to your font for a very reasonable price.
* Note: The success of colour logo reproduction is dependent on the complexity of the image, the number of colours, and the presence of colour gradients. Logos with colours gradients or logos that contain photographs are particularly unsuitable for conversion (see examples below). We will only attempt a colour conversion if we feel the results are going to be acceptable. If necessary, we will ask you to formally approve a preview of the finished font before completing the work.Example (Gradient Colours)

This logo (left) is unsuitable for conversion into a font because it contains colour gradients. The blue background fades to white and the letters have a yellow / orange gradient. When the colours are reduced to produce the logo font, the colours become banded (see example on the right).

The blue and yellow logo (right) has no colour gradients, and is therefore suitable for conversion.
Important Notes Regarding Copyright

Assignment to keyboard letters
Unless you have a very specific requirement for assignment of your logo to key on the keyboard, please let Quantum Enterprises make recommended choices. This will ensure that your font name (and logo) is correctly displayed in the font menu. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know.
For Quantum Enterprises to successfully produce a quality custom Logo Font, we require the best quality version of your logo that you can supply.
Electronic Version
If you already have an electronic version of your logo (e.g. a bitmap, gif, jpg, tiff, eps or pdf version), then you can upload a copy when you request a quotation.
The electronic version must be of a good resolution to allow us to produce a high quality font. For example, if the logo image is less than 2000 pixels in size on the longest side, you are probably better sending a hard copy of your brochure, or pre-printed stationary, in the mail.
If you wish to upload an electronic version of your logo, please have it ready as you will be asked to upload it after successful submission of the Quotation Request Form. Please ensure that the image filename is identifiable with your company. If the image filename is not identifiable with your company, please use the comments box in the quotation form to tell us the filename(s).
IMPORTANT: Our maximum upload size for individual logo image files is 10MB.
Please send copies of all of the logo variants that you require to be converted.

Hard Copy
If you do not have an electronic version of your logo(s), please post in the mail the best and largest printed version of your logo that you can find.
You may send pre-printed stationary, or a copy of your company brochure.
We will use our high quality scanning equipment to obtain a good quality image. This will allow us to produce a high quality font from the material supplied.
