(How to request a quote / order a Custom Logo Font)

Here is a brief summary of the process for producing your Logo Font. Detailed instructions follow further down this page.
  1. You send the best copy of your logo(s) to us, either electronically or in the mail. You'll be asked to include any information about colours, variants or other preferences.

  2. We examine your logo(s) and determine if we have enough information. We will also determine if the quality of the logo is suitable for conversion, and the cost for the conversion process.

  3. We return a formal quote by e-mail and direct you to a payment page to pay on-line.*

  4. We produce your custom Logo Font and send it to you by e-mail for approval. This will take between 5 and 10 working days, depending on the complexity of the logo, number of variants, and colours.

  5. If required, we make any changes or modifications to your Logo Font.

  6. Once you have confirmed that you are happy with your font, we mail a copy of it to you on CD-ROM.

  7. If required, we include an example of your logo, with a link to your company's web site, on our Examples page.
*We accept payment using all major credit cards through PayPal. Note: A PayPal account is not required to make a credit card payment.
UK customers may also pay by cheque.
Detailed Instructions For Submitting Your Logo & Requesting A Quote

Choose The Logos You Want To Be Converted

You first need to decide on the logos that you want to have converted. You've probably got a single main logo that is the main identity for your organisation, but you may also have variants of the logo, with or without straplines and other images. You may have colour and mono versions of your logo. Remember that we can reproduce colour logos*. You can ask us to convert other text as well, such as your company address(es), registration number, etc, so that they can all be inserted with a key press.

Don't forget, if your stationary has other logos (e.g. memberships, awards and certifications such as ISO 9001 and Investors In People), we can add them as well so that you can completely reproduce your stationary with high quality scalable graphics. We may have already created the more common logos, and can add them to your font for a very reasonable price.

* Note: The success of colour logo reproduction is dependent on the complexity of the image, the number of colours, and the presence of colour gradients. Logos with colours gradients or logos that contain photographs are particularly unsuitable for conversion (see examples below). We will only attempt a colour conversion if we feel the results are going to be acceptable. If necessary, we will ask you to formally approve a preview of the finished font before completing the work.

Logo with colour gradients after conversion into a fontLogo with colour gradientsExample (Gradient Colours)
This logo (left) is unsuitable for conversion into a font because it contains colour gradients. The blue background fades to white and the letters have a yellow / orange gradient. When the colours are reduced to produce the logo font, the colours become banded (see example on the right).
Logo with no colour gradients
The blue and yellow logo (right) has no colour gradients, and is therefore suitable for conversion.

For Quantum Enterprises to successfully produce a quality custom Logo Font, we require the best quality version of your logo that you can supply:

Electronic Version
If you already have an electronic version of your logo (e.g. a bitmap, gif, jpg, tiff or pdf version), then you can attach a copy of the file(s) to an e-mail message when you request a quote.

The electronic version must be of a good resolution to allow us to produce a high quality font. For example, if the logo image is only less than 2000 pixels on the longest side, you are probably better sending a hard copy of your brochure, or pre-printed stationary, in the mail.

Warning SignIMPORTANT: We cannot accept attachments that are larger than 3 MB (megabytes) each. Please check the FILE sizes of the images you are planning to send. Many e-mail systems will not accept files that are too large. If you have multiple logos to send that are very large files, please attach them to separate messages.
Files that are too large will be deleted from our server and we will request you to re-send the files, either as smaller versions, or in another format.

Please send copies of all of the logo variants that you require to be converted.

Hard Copy
As mentioned above, if you do not have an electronic version of your logo(s), please post in the mail the best and largest printed version of your logo that you can find.

You may send pre-printed stationary or a copy of your company brochure.

We will use our high quality scanning equipment to obtain a good quality image. This will allow us to produce a high quality font from the material supplied.
