Round Tuit Detail - Contemporary Version

Main Description

The original contemporary Round Tuit may have some secrets that are yet to be discovered. Found in the Nevada desert in the United States, scientists are still pondering as to whether this artefact is indeed 'of this earth' and tests are being conducted to try and determine if it has any use.

The actual disk is 157mm in diameter and 11mm thick - the base material is unknown.

Details - Outer to Inner

The outer rim of the Contemporary Round Tuit contains two design bands. The outer band consists of various icons that represernt activities that may be a subject of procrastination. Starting from the top and going clockwise the icons are: telephone, house, dinner plate, tropical beach, cat, tools, dog, heart, bicycle, present, aeroplane, no smoking symbol, clock, stadium, open book, camera, ocean liner, television, tent in the woods (camping).
The inner band consists of printed circuit board connections - as if this Round Tuit is some sort of electronic device.

Further evidence that this Round Tuit has some sort of electrical secret is the set of four 'connectors' on the right hand side.

The connectors are similar to those found on printed circuit boards and SIM cards and the whole medallion look as if it should be plugged in to something.

Unlike the other three 'Original' Round Tuit designs, the Contempoary design has a single 'TUIT' in the centre, rather than the wording around the outside. This makes it look like a more 'traditional' design of Round Tuit.

The lettering is strange, almost alien in appearance...
