Where does the idea for the Round Tuit come from?
The real origins of the Round Tuit are unknown. A popular poem appeared sometime in the 20th century, using the word play from the phrase "when I get around to it".
The poem reads:
This is a round tuit. Guard it with your life! Tuits are hard to come by, especially the round ones. It will help you become a much more efficient worker. For years you've heard people say "I'll do that when I get a round tuit." So now that you have one, you can accomplish all those things you put aside until you got a Round Tuit.
Quantum Enterprises has given a fictional history to the Round Tuit throughout the ages, showing how procrastination has affected mankind since the dawn of time.
The Round Tuit is an object that can be used as a joke or motivational tool for anyone who procrastinates (delays and puts off tasks).
Sometimes the letters "TUIT" or "ROUND TUIT" are written, printed or embossed on a piece of paper, card, metal, wood or ceramic object, which is usually round itself. These tokens can then be passed on as a gift or reminder for someone to complete a task.
The 'Original' Round Tuit medallions are produced as high quality 100% brass 'replicas' of the imaginary Round Tuits from history. Rather than just having the words "TUIT" or "ROUND TUIT" on them, the medallions are designed with an intricately detailed theme that makes them beautiful and collectable objects in their own right.

Can I get Round Tuit products from anywhere else?
Round Tuits are available from many different places and the concept is not owned by Quantum Enterprises (although the designs are). However, we believe that our specially commissioned 'Original' Round Tuit medallions and the range of 'Traditional' Round Tuit products are the most unusual, beautiful and exquisitely presented Round Tuit gifts in the world. They are designed to be fun, but are gifts with an appeal that will last for generations

Can you make custom Round Tuits?
We can produce custom versions of the Presentation Case 'Original' Round Tuit products. For these products we can customise the packaging, and include specific messages. There are no minimum orders for customised versions of these products. Unfortunately we cannot produce custom minted Round Tuit medallions due to the high design costs and large minimum quantity required. Please go to click here for more information.
I see that Quantum Enterprises uses PayPal. Do you need a PayPal account to make a purchase?
No! It is still a common misconception that you need to open a PayPal account to pay through PayPal. This is not true. PayPal will process your credit card details just like any other online payment system. You will be given the option to open a PayPal account at the end of your purchase, but this is completely optional.

I'm having problems paying using PayPal - what should I do?
PayPal, like many Internet based services, sometimes has problems with the sheer volume of people using it. This can reduce its speed and make it seem like it is not responding. If this seems to be the case, try again an hour or so later, perhaps when there are likely to be less people on line.
If PayPal is rejecting your credit card information, please make absolutely sure you are entering the correct information. Make sure that your credit card is one of the recognised major cards. Check that your card has not expired and enter the details that match those on the card.
The security numbers (CAPTCHA) at the bottom of the payment screen do not have spaces between them - we have had customers who have been unable to complete a purchase because they thought that spaces were required.
If you have already created a PayPal account, PayPal will expect you to use it. It will not allow you to make a credit card payment as if you didn't already have an account. However, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT YOU CAN MAKE A PURCHASE WITH A CREDIT CARD, AND DO NOT NEED TO OPEN A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE.
If you are still unable to resolve the problem, and cannot pay by another method, please contact PayPal directly.
How else can I pay, other than using PayPal?
Payment for products or services may be made in the following ways:
- On-line via the PayPal secure credit card transaction service.
- Cheque (UK only)
- Postal Order (UK only)
Please make Postal Orders and Cheques payable to 'Quantum Enterprises'.
Customers in the UK: If you wish to pay by cheque, you can still shop and add items to your basket. At checkout you will be given the option to print out an order form rather than make payment.
PayPal is the preferred method of payment, as it is secure and the quickest method.
Please allow up to 5 working days for cheques, money orders and postal orders to be processed and cleared.
As you are based in the UK, do you ship to the USA or other parts of the world?
Although our prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling (with an approximate conversion in US Dollars) we will accept your order from most countries in the world, in any of the main currencies.

Your prices are in Pounds (£). How am I charged outside of the UK?
Don't worry about the fact that prices are in UK Pounds Sterling, or converting the UK price into your currency, your credit card company will do this when you make your payment.
