This product allows you to turn your own handwriting into a True Type Font that you can use on any PC or Mac.

The pack contains all of the forms and instructions you need, with details on how to send the forms to us for processing.

The pack is also useful if you had previously decided to print out the forms from the website, but had problems getting the forms to print correctly.

There are three simple steps to create your own handwriting font

Usual Limitations Of Basic, True Type Handwriting Fonts
There are always certain limitations when re-creating handwriting using fonts. Only one version of each letter can be used in a font, even though individual letters will differ during normal handwriting. The shape and joining strokes of a letter are dependent on the letter which came before it, and the letter which comes after. Normally you have to accept these limitations and understand that your handwriting font will never look EXACTLY like your actual handwriting.

What Makes The Premium 'Ultra' Service Different?
As you may have already read under our Premium Service information, with careful examination of your writing style, and the use of our unique SPACEanchor™ system, we can reproduce your handwriting so that it looks extremely similar to your actual script. We do this by asking you to write a number of key words in your natural handwriting, rather than writing out individual letters as per some of the other services.

We also use over 20 years of Graphonomy (handwriting analysis) experience to assist in ensuring that your unique handwriting style is re-created.

With the Premium 'Ultra' handwriting font service we have further overcome the limitations of character repetition, by embedding nearly 100 additional characters in the font. These are accessed and replaced by our FREE Scriptalizer™ Software, which adds another level of naturalness to your, already fantastic, handwriting font. We therefore ask you to complete a fifth and sixth submission form for this service, with further examples of your handwriting.
 

Oops - I've made an error!
An optional seventh form allows you to supply examples of how you cross out or scribble out mistakes for words of different lengths. Many of us experience a 'slip of the pen' when we write and have to cross out our mistake (or use correction fluid, or screw it up and start again!).
If you supply these 'error' characters, when you use the Scriptalizer™, you will have the option to ask the software to add 'mistakes' at a frequency you choose.
The Scriptalizer™ will take the next word when it is time to create a 'mistake', randomly change one letter, and then cross it out.
If you do not complete this form, we will generate a default 'error' character using one single line through the centre of the word to be crossed out.

How Does The Scriptalizer™ Work?
The Scriptalizer™ software is a small, standalone program (Windows only - including Vista and Windows 7) that is very simple to use. It doesn't use 'macros' like some handwriting font services offer, nor does it install toolbars or require complicated setup.

You simply type (or paste) the text you want to 'naturalise' in the top window, click the Scriptalize! button, and your handwriting font looks better than ever!

The 'Copy Text' button lets you copy the converted text so you can paste in into your favourite word processor.

What makes the Scriptalizer™ different from other handwriting font services on the market is the use of a configuration file, which defines the letters that have starting and ending strokes particular to your handwriting style. This is supplied with your font and only needs to be changed (using the configuration or CF buttons) if more than one person wishes to use the software.

The graphic below shows the same sentence, typed out three times, and subjected to the Scriptalizer™ software. Look at how many of the letters vary within each sentence and from sentence to sentence. Compare with the standardPremium Font (further below). See how starting 'anchor' strokes have been added. along with ending strokes on the letter 's'.

For the Premium 'Ultra' Service you will be required to complete at least six forms (with an optional seventh). The forms include the standard characters used for everyday handwriting, plus some of the more specialised characters you may need. Any characters you do not specify will be automatically inserted by the software*. You will be required to write a number of sentences and individual words in your own handwriting on Forms 1, 4, 5 and 6. You can use more than one copy of Form 4, Form 5, and Form 6 as necessary.

*Note: Characters that are not specified will be replaced by approximations and will not reproduce the cursive effect.
