To ensure that you always have a backup of your font, you can purchase your personal handwriting font on recordable CD-ROM, supplied in a standard CD jewel case.
Your CD will also include all of the fonts that are currently available in the 'Font Vault'.
Having paid for your personal handwriting font, you will not want to lose it. Quantum Enterprises will hold your font on file for 30 days. After that, unless you've allowed us to put your font in the 'Font Vault', if you lose your font you'll have to purchase a new one!
IMPORTANT: The price below does not include the cost to make a handwriting font. You must purchase a handwriting font before you can purchase the CD-ROM. Please ensure that you are happy with your font before purchasing on CD-ROM. You must purchase your font within 30 days of it being produced.
* Your handwriting font will be supplied on a custom-made, professionally labeled, recordable CD-Rom.

As explained on our 'Help & Tips' page, you cannot simply use your font in e-mail messages. You must ensure that the recipient of the message has your font installed for them to be able to see it.
But many people do not trust attachments and may not want to open an attachment such as a font file for fear of activating a virus.
The answer to this problem is to have your own personal font page on the web.
Then you can point people to a place where they can download your font file using a simple text message at the bottom of your e-mail. For example:

To see the message in my handwriting you will first need to install the font. To download my font, and find out how turn your own handwriting into a True Type Font, go to http://www.quantumenterprises.co.uk/personalfont/example.htm
You may have already given permission for your font to be hosted in the 'Font Vault', but this will not include your signature, and as this page grows it will become harder and harder to pick out a particular font.
Personal font pages are available to all, but only if you give someone your font page web address. Personal font pages will not be indexed by the search engines.
With our font hosting service you can now keep a version of your font online on a personal page on which you can add your own message of up to 200 words, and links to up to 5 other web sites.*
This is also another way of guaranteeing a backup copy of your font. If you lose your font due to a hard disk failure, you can download another copy from your own personal font page!
You will be charged an annual fee to host your own handwriting font. The first payment includes free setup of your personal handwriting font page.

You will be sent instructions, and a request for your personal message and web links, after you have made your purchase.
* Note: Messages will be monitored and you will be asked to re-write your message if it contains profanity or content (including links) that is unsuitable for a family-friendly web page.
