The Scriptalizer™ API webservice is available as a remote hosted or self-hosted version and provides a standard interface, defined by WSDL, to allow licensed 3rd parties to access Scriptalizer™ functionality. The API returns a Scriptalized text string. The license fee is payable annually.
With either version, the Scriptalize method takes 4 parameters: LicenseKey, FontName, ErrFrequency and InputText, and returns a ScriptalizerResponse object containing two values: Status and OutputText.
The two services available are:-
1. API Web Service Hosted by Quantum Enterprises.
In order to maintain server performance, certain restrictions are imposed on call size and number of calls.
- A LIMIT OF 48KB PER REQUEST
- A DAILY LIMIT OF 10,000 REQUESTS PER DAY

2. Self-Hosted API Web Service.
For customers with high-volume Scriptalizing needs, we offer a
license to self-host the webservice to offload work to the customers’ own servers,
by-passing volume limits imposed on the public webservice to protect throughput
and performance for all customers.

Use of either of the Scriptalizer™ API webservices requires the purchase of an annual license and at least one Premium 'Ultra' handwriting font.
Each license is granted to one individual or organisation and is not transferable.
Please note that it may take up to 24 hours to receive your license number / software, as this process is not automatic.
